An order has been placed with my broker. It's to buy the stock of a footwear apparel retailer. As always, a limit order has been used. But if the purchase gets made, I'll post my rationale for establishing this new portfolio position.

I've been looking at some shoe retailers as well. I wonder if it's any that I found interesting (FINL, SHOE). What scares me is their low margins but I'm not sure which one you picked... I'll wait until you complete your purchase and post your thoughts...

I'm going to guess FINL. That's a spicy meatball!

I'm guessing SKX. I've been following it for a while, and finally bought some today.

I'll guess FINL as well but I haven't looked at the Genesco deal. AT $7 the market must think it was the worst deal of the year, the dividend was canceled I think to help fund the deal. I don't know what the combined co will look like but have started to look into it.
I think Paiva is the hidden gem there, if they can expand it out.

I will be guessing FTAR.OB or TBL
