Finally, what’s the main problem the homebuilders have? Like any retailer, they could get stuck with inventory. Once that inventory is gone, it’s back to making money. The other day the market got spooked because housing starts were at a 16-year low. This is great news. In fact, with starts so low, the inventory overhang will get worked off. February was probably the first month in a while that more homes were sold than were started. BAM! Time to buy the stocks [mentioned in the article].
I should point out that I don't own any of the stocks in the article. Homebuilders or the others. But James' columns are always worth reading. And mulling over.
