Writing from the perspective of a UK investor, Tom Stevenson says this may be a great buying opportunity. He talks about Warren Buffett, Ted Williams and the "fat pitch" (which must warm the heart of George over at Fat Pitch Financials) investors desire:
By waiting for only the "fattest" pitch, Ted Williams secured
baseball's highest-ever batting average. We don't need to be so precise –
investors are scared and buying from scared investors pays off in the end.
The pitch is fat enough.
You know me too well, John. This article closely matches my current sentiment regarding the market. As a "fat pitch" investor, this market turmoil is exactly the type of thing to motivate me to take action. I am almost overwelmed by the choices that the market is presenting.
Thanks for pointing this article out to us.

You're very welcome, George. We may well look back some years from now and see this as a golden buying opportunity. I just wish I had more cash so I could take advantage of 'em.
