Maybe it's just that time of the year, but my non-blogging duties will prevent this blog's usual Five for the Weekend. I've been posting less than I'd like lately, and want to do more. Whether that happens before the New Year remains to be seen. But posting will take place next week, and perhaps over the weekend.
In the meantime, Geoff Gannon recently posted after a lengthy period. Gannon on Investing has been one of the very best blogs in general, and value investing blogs in particular. Check it out if you haven't already.
And Jonathan Heller of Cheap Stocks has posted Part II of his 2008 Cheap Stocks Land Review. Great stuff, as was Part I, and he reveals which ones he's invested in personally. Tejon Ranch and St. Joe probably rank among those stocks I've never owned -- and most likely should have at various times over the years.
Have a great weekend.
Yeah... I second your view of Gannon. I think Geoff Gannon is one of the best writers I have encountered on the web. Very insightful writer...

Sivaram: I wish he was able to post more often, as many do.
