Barron's Roundtable 2009, First Installment

The first of three installments of Barron's annual roundtable is this week. Even better, after giving everyone the chance to express their big picture views, the first investor presenting ideas is none other than the First Lady of Value Stock Pickers, Meryl Witmer of Eagle Capital Partners.

She offers up four stocks: Kaiser Aluminum, Allegheny Energy, Assurant, and Discover Financial. Witmer says plenty of stocks are cheap, but that plenty are also hugely overvalued. She cited Amazon as an example, though she added that she isn't shorting anything is this environment.
