I mentioned the other day that Jim Grant was on Pimm Fox's Taking Stock program for the full hour. I didn't know of a link to it, but David of Finance Trends Matter was kind enough to provide the link in the comments section.
David posts the link on his blog, which you can find here. Check it out.
Marty Whitman used to say that most of the news we hear and read regarding markets is "noise." That has never been more true than now. And that's why Grant's appearance on Bloomberg and his op-ed in the Washington Post that I posted about a few days ago are so welcome -- not to mention valuable.

Thanks for the link back to our post, John. Much appreciated! If only more people would hear Grant above the din of our ignorant politicians and media talking heads.

@David: You're welcome. And regarding Grant, I agree. Why Charlie Rose doesn't have him on is beyond me. I should point out that for all I know Charlie begs him to come on. But for the broad spectrum of political/economic chit chat I suspect they don't like what they know Grant will say. Thanks goodness for Pimm Fox and Bloomberg TV. I've recently been able to get Bloomberg with my basic cable package, and Grant has been on twice in that time.
